Prince Charles: Sampler (Promo) (Rondor Music International, 200x)

Further unreleased music from Prince Charles (Charles Hinshaw Jr.), a Compton-born singer-songwriter who has since penned top 20 hits for the likes of Usher and Rhianna, and made an appearance on Mary’s song “Smile” from her 2017 album “Strength of A Woman”.  It seems he initially started out as a solo artist with all four of these songs being written for him by Dwight Watson (Marquez Houston "Case Of You" et al.) All slow jams (which have a very mid-to-late 2000s sound), Hinshaw is an amazing crooner with a delicate, smooth touch. Aside from "Don't Need A Dime" which was later recorded by Mic Little, I am uncertain if any of the other tracks were used for anybody else but they all feature production from The Stereotypes who won a Grammy Award in 2017 for their work with Bruno Mars.
