Mýa: Coach Carter Demos (Promo CDr) (William Morris Agency, 200x)

There's no shortage of unreleased Mýa songs floating around out there. Preceding and following the cancellation of Control Freak and Liberation in the early to mid 2000s, roughly half a dozen songs leaked online from the recording sessions of both produced by a variety of known and unknown producers but to my knowledge tracks 3, 4 and 5 from the above CDr were not among them. Compiled for William Morris Agency, a talent agency based out of Beverly Hills, CA, I can only imagine that the songs featured were future considerations for 2005's Coach Carter soundtrack though why the two Moodring songs Extacy (produced by Damon Elliott) and Anatomy 1 on 1 (produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis) are featured I
cannot say. They do not appear to be re-recordings. The Hills, which leaked in 2006, was touted as an unreleased track from the Control Freak or Liberation sessions although I have always believed that it was recorded for Moodring or even between albums. The producer has always been unknown although the similarity to other unreleased tracks produced by Ryan Leslie has always made me suspect it was him. Aside from track 5 which was supposed to appear on rapper Shortee Redd's shelved 2005 album From Da Bottom Up and features Harrison on the hook, the final two tracks I know nothing about but track 5 Switch is not the same song as Switch It Up from 2007's Liberation. Neither this or the upbeat dance track Love Come Down appear in BMI's repertoire. Possibly a one-of-a-kind item.Mega rare.

Extacy 3:50
The Hills 4:59

We Won't Stop (feat. Shortee Redd) 3:14
